Place d'Orta San Giulio

Comme bien des places antiques d'Italie, la place d'Orta San Giulio ne s'ouvre à la ville que par de petites ruelles ; par contre, elle a tout un côté pour le lac et le point de vue sur l'île San Giulio est des plus esthétiques. A l'extrémité nord, l'ancien Palais Communal a un charme fou : bâti sur colonnes avec des fresques, ce monument historique donne à la place l'allure d'un décor de théâtre. Bien entendu, les terrasses des cafés restaurants tiennent le haut du pavé. Les allées et venues des bateaux se font dans la douceur ambiante que ne vient troubler aucune circulation automobile.

Like many ancient places of Italy, Orta San Giulio instead of only opens the city by narrow streets; by cons, it has everything to one side of the lake and the view on the San Giulio is more aesthetic. At extrmit north, the former Palazzo Comunale has a charm: bti on columns with frescoes, this historic building gives the place the look of a dcor of theater. Of course, the terraces of cafes restaurants have the upper pav. The alles and goings of the boats are in the soothing environment that will disturb any traffic.
