Good place for an inexpensive meal
During my stay in Naples, I ate at Pizzeria Di Matteo almost every day. There is another pizzeria nearby called Del Presidente which is run by the same owners. Generally, all the pizzerias in Naples are good, but these two pizzerias are usually not as busy as Da Michele and the other famous ones. The marinara pizza (tomato, garlic and oregano) cost about 2.5 to 3 Euros, and the Margarita with mushrooms or ham cost 4.00, if I remember correctly. Other pizzas had more ingredients but none passed the 6-7 Euros mark. They also offer a good variety of snacks like arancini, breaded and fried eggplant, or battered zucchini, which were also very good.
