Pizzeria da Gianni

Probably the best pizzeria in Basel. The proof is that it is a favorite of the Italian community that lives there. Of course their specialty is pizza, but other great options are their meat dishes, rice dishes (mushrooms, my favorite) and pasta. The staff is friendly but don´t speak all languages so do not forget your cassette tapes with Italian or German, or learn to talk with your hands!
