El Piyayo

La Taberna del Piyayo es un restaurante que está en el centro de la ciudad, al principio de calle Granda justo al lado de la plaza del siglo es un sitio como mucha solera y aunque a veces se ponga muy lleno merece la pena. Tiene una decoración típica del mar siendo su especialidad el marisco y el pescado; pero lo mejor es el precio, de lo más barato en pleno casco histórico, además los platos los sirven bien llenos y es perfecto para tapear. Horario: Martes a Domingo de 12:00 a 16:00 y de 20:00 a 00:00 / Lunes cerrado

Anoche fuimos a cenar con la familia y tan sólo estábamos nosotros a primera hora de la noche. El camarero nos metió los 5 platos de golpe como si estuviera dando de comer a los cerdos, le pedí que se llevará uno de los platos ya que éramos 4 y nos había metido platos fríos y calientes juntos y se nos enfriaba la comida, no sólo protestó sino que de mala gana se llevó el plato trayendo lo su compañera 15 min más tarde frío. Dicho camarero ya no se acerco más a la mesa. Poco profesional a mi parecer. Sin duda el buen concepto que tenía del Piyayo en esta visita ha dejado que desear. Las camareras estupendas todas y la cocina espectacular como siempre pero el servicio de dicho camarero y su actitud me defraudaron completamente.

Last night we went to dinner with the family ... and we were just early in the evening. The waiter got us the 5 dishes at once as if feeding pigs ... ke will be asked one of the dishes as they were 4 and we had gotten hot and cold dishes together and the food is cooled. .. not only he protested but reluctantly bringing what his companion dish 15 min later was cold. Waiter said nothing already approached the table. Unprofessional in my opinion. No doubt the good concept that had the Piyayo on this visit has left ke desired. The waitresses all great and spectacular cuisine as always but the service of the waiter and his attitude defrauded me compmetamente

Se come bien y amabilidad por los camareros, nos pareció caro para una paella y una ensalada comer por 40€ la verdad. Los precios en la carta deberían especificar mejor ya que ponía paella para dos 9,50 y luego en la factura nos cobraron por persona. Otra más para engañar a los guiris..
