A beautiful place
The Picasso Gardens are a beautiful space that were opened to mark the centenary of the artist's birth in 1981. Located in the heart of the town, surrounded by two major avenues (La Aurora and Andalucia), the park is symmetrically arranged to resemble the petals of a flower. The highlights include ficus trees, jacaranda and tropical plants. There are two giant sculptures in homage to Picasso, the works of the local sculptor Berrocal. There's a children's playground at one end of the park.
