As Lna tells the Petrovaradin Fortress (The city of Pierre in Serbian), this place is majestic and captivating, both your building more memorial, as the surroundings and views that we can see. And it isn't memorable just for the many cultural and leisure activities, but as the place from which the Austro-Hungarian Empire was guarding the other side of the Danube. There, the Ottoman Empire was preparing for battle. We were living for a week in the lower part of Petrovaradin, a medieval town that hides the busy center of Novi Sad. The clock "tictaquea" was right above us, and from the sale of the hall could delight us with their hands.

The best thing was definitely the walks that we took up the fort. To get there, we went on a paved road that climbed toward the building and surrounding area. Everything there was so beautiful, but for me, the best part was nighttime because it was even more beautiful than the day.

Manu Chao, Fran Ferdinand, Pet Shop Boys, Scissor Sisters, Garbage y Morrisey han desplazado a los asentamientos celtas, romanos u otomanos. ¿Qué? Sí. El lugar que adjudicaron los imperios como centro de operaciones militares, es ahora un espacio abierto a todo tipo de propuestas como por ejemplo, Exit, el festival musical más completo que se celebra en los Balcanes. ¿De qué lugar estoy hablando? De la Fortaleza Petrovaradin. La Fortaleza se alza contundente pero dejándose hacer. Contundente por haber quedado intacta a pesar de todas las ofensivas (algunas demasiado recientes) que ha sufrido Novi Sad a lo largo de su historia. Y dejándose hacer al dar su aprobación cuando deciden convertirla en un macrofestival de altísimo nivel o en un impresionante mirador a una ciudad refrescada por el Danubio. Su gran reloj, que “tictaquea” rebelde los minutos en su manilla corta y las horas en la más larga, me absorbió hasta tal punto que se hizo de noche y no me dio tiempo a ver nada más de Novi Sad. No me importó.

Principale attraction de Novi Sad, celle que l'on appelle parfois la Gibraltar du Danube est une forteresse du début du 18ème siècle dont les plans ont été dessiné par...Vauban. Situé de l'autre côté du Danube par rapport au centre-ville de Novi Sad, la forteresse est accessible en bus à partir le l'avenue Mihajla Pupina (determiner les lignes qui franchissent le pont). C'est dans cette forteresse que ce déroule l'un des meilleurs festivals de musique d'Europe: EXIT. Le lieu abrite également un musée de la ville, un musée de la Vojvodine et un planetarium. L'accès à la forteresse elle-même reste cependant gratuit.
