Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial

Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial is the third tallest monument in the United States and visitors are able to travel up to the top of the tower for an amazing 360 degree view of South Bass Island. Thankfully, there is an elevator that will take you up to the top. It costs $3 to enter, which is a bargain! There were many park rangers around and you could approach them to ask any questions. They were very friendly and helpful. The view from the top was absolutely perfect. We were outdoors in the sunshine and could see around the entire island, including streets, the marina, and views of Lake Erie.
