In an idyllic setting

Pépiole Chapel can be reached by car - parking is at the entrance. This small chapel is in an idyllic setting among olive groves, vineyards and cypress trees. The building is V or VI century (the exact date is uncertain). It is Romanesque in style but has undergone several restorations. Its architecture is very distinctive as it is composed of three naves and three apses. The stained glass is also distinctive as it is made from glass bottles: light passes through the bottle providing a colorful effect. The interior of the chapel is quite simple and creates a deep sense of stillness. On request,

There is the possibility of a guided tour, or you can buy a small booklet explaining the landmark's history.
