Las playas de Almuñécar están separadas por este enorme peñón, que tiene una vistas extraordinarias. Elevado, tiene una vistas preciosas de la ciudad también y es probablemente el mejor sitio para ver el atardecer de la zona. Además, desde allí se pueden ver las tres rocas que surgen de mitad del mar y que se han convertido en uno de los símbolos de Almuñécar.
Almuñécar beaches are separated by this huge rock, which has spectacular views. High, has a lovely view of the city and is also probably the best place to watch the sunset in the area. In addition, from there you can see the three rocks emerging from the sea and half that have become a symbol of Almuñécar.

Desde el peñón, ubicado en un tombolo de tierra hay unas vistas espectaculares de Almuñecar y sus dos playas, San Cristobal y Puerta del Mar, en el peñón se pueden ver restos de un antiguo puente romano que unía el Peñón con la fortaleza.
In the Peñón del Santo Abderrahman I first made landfall on the peninsula in his journey from Damascus, the last survivor of the Umayyad Córdoba founded. From the Rock, located on a tombolo ground there are spectacular views of Almunecar and its two beaches, San Cristobal and Puerta del Mar, on the rock are remains of an ancient Roman bridge that connected with the Rock Fortress.
