Picos de Europa

Picos de Europa is a truly stunning natural park that everyone should visit. It lies between the three Spanish states of Asturias, Castilla y Leon, and Cantabria, and has really spectacular scenery and wildlife.

The park has numerous mountains with varying degrees of difficulty, so it's a perfect place for hikers of all abilities. You can visit Picos de Europa at any time of year, as it has a different charm depending on the season. In winter, for example, you can hike through the mountains all covered in snow (taking the necessary precautions, of course), while in the spring and fall the landscape is filled with gorgeous colors. Or, you can visit in summer to simply enjoy the beautiful weather.

I went up by cable car, impressive ascent that went almost vertically! After the climb we did the more complicated route, the trail begins on the flat and is smooth enough to go through it, but as you continue going there are steep turns and a path of stones and rocks, so it´s necessary to have good shoes, because twisting it would not be very difficult with all the stones in the road. It is a hard climb for people who are not used to it, but worth the views, if you are lucky and there is much movement of clouds you can see some beautiful light changes.

This is a fantastic landscapes full of crystal-clear waters and irresistibly untamed areas. It's a magnificent place that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys nature, hiking, or simply getting out for a while to enjoy the fresh air and connect with the natural world.
