Paul
Paul is a famous chain of old-time bakeries. I love the breads made with sesame and cereals. They are so delicious and last a long time. I went to the original family store that Paul founded over a century ago. Now it has become a restaurant - a perfect place at noon when you are visiting the old center of Lille. You can eat very well here, it's not very expensive and the dishes served quickly. You can choose from a selection of sandwiches, crepes and quiches. They are all simple dishes made with fresh ingredients. A midday menu costs around 12 euros. Also it's in a landmark building in the opera square overlooking the theater and the old stock exchange.
