Passarela do Descobrimento

A região de Porto Seguro foi uma das pioneiras no que diz respeito à fundação do Brasil e contato dos portugueses com a América. Orgulhosos de sua história, os moradores preservam o patrimônio cultural da cidade que é de um colorido surpreendente. Assim, como cidade vocacionada a receber bem seus visitantes, em Porto Seguro o que não faltam são atrativos e roteiros. Um deste que é inconfundível, é a Passarela do Descobrimento, com sua fileira de casarios colônias se tornaram o símbolo da cidade. Perto do cais da cidade, entre o rio e o oceano, a Passarela do Descobrimento é um uma renomeação para um antigo distrito da cidade onde ficavam os antigos armazéns. É para a Passarela do Descobrimento que convergem as principais festividades da cidade, assim como o agito das noites durante a alta temporada. Com diversos bares, restaurantes, centros culturais, a passarela atrai multidões de turistas, principalmente nos dias de feira (que ocorre no início da noite com diversos produtos como aquele souvenir que você não pode deixar de levar) e grandes festividades como Reveillon e Carnaval. Não deixe também de experimentar a culinária local, seja nos estabelecimentos ou nas diversas barracas espalhadas. De tal modo, até hoje esta passarela continua apresentado novas descobertas a seus visitantes.

The region of Porto Seguro was one of the pioneers with regard to the founding of Brazil and the contact of the Portuguese with America. Close to the city"s pier, between the river and the ocean, the Discovery Walkway is a renaming to an old district of the city where the old warehouses were. It is to the Passarela do Descobrimento that converges the main festivities of the city, as well as the bustle of the nights during the high season. With many bars, restaurants, cultural centers, the catwalk attracts crowds of tourists, especially on fair days (which occurs in the early evening with various products such as that souvenir you can not miss) and great festivities such as New Year"s Eve and Carnival. Do not forget to try the local cuisine, either in the establishments or in the various stalls spread out. Thus, to this day this catwalk continues to present new discoveries to its visitors.
