Shops and history
Upon entering the passage from the boulevard Montmartre, it was as if I had stepped back in time to the nineteenth century or the "Roaring Twenties" (so called in France 1920). Apparently it's the oldest "covered walkway" of the city, opened in 1799 to house shops and restaurants. A few days ago I found a variety of shops, including several restaurants, and amazing things as a original jewellery sale (recovered from factories that were closing), feather "boas" for professionals (if they want to do a "french cancan "haha!), and other curiosities. You can cross to the other side and the street is also crossed by another gallery forming a crossroads.
