One of Spain's most important natural parks is Doñana, which is located in Andalusia between Huelva and Sevilla. It is a stunning area that differs from other parks because it is formed of extensive marshes which create a unique and spectacular landscape. To access the park you have to apply for permits and you can go on your own, but there are areas next to and within the park that you can visit freely. One such area is adjacent to the village of El Rocío. There are beautiful marshes that are very long and are filled with all kinds of animals. In this place you can closely observe bird species that live in other parts such as herons or cranes.
