Loma de San Juan

Parque de San Juan Es un parque muy agradable con frondosos árboles. En un rincón protegido por unos árboles está el lugar donde en 1898 se firmó la capitulación y final de la Guerra de España con Cuba, en la que Cuba ganó su independencia Al oeste del parque se encuentra la Loma de San Juan. Allí hubo el episodio más cruento de la Guerra Hispano-Cubana-Norteamericana. En la cima de la loma se encuentra un Memorial de dicha batalla, pudimos ver también un Memorial dedicado a los soldados españoles que cayeron en aquella batalla. Todo el conjunto es interesante de visitar por la carga histórica que conlleva. Está todo bien cuidado y en un excelente estado de conservación.
