Grand Teton National Park

This American national park is located south of the famous Yellowstone park. Although it has smaller dimensions (compared to other parks in the area), it has everything that you could ask from nature: Numerous trails, high mountain lakes, forests, wildlife, ..... Visitors can stay at the nearby town of Jackson or in the parks extensive infrastructure: with Hotel, camping, resturants, laundry, .... The park is named for the mountains that dominate the region.

As we were driving to Yellowstone, we came to the top of a hill and saw this beautiful mountain. We stopped so I could take this image. I heard a tour guide say it was rare to see the lake that still at that time of day.
