A good time
We went to Santa Pola with some friends, who have a beach house there. One small problem ... it was spring, and the weather meant that we didn't spend a single day at the beach! We went to Alicante, just 10 or 15 minutes by car from Santa Pola. Upon entering, if you look to the left, you'll see a lot of palm trees, which form the Palm Grove Park. Inside you'll find lots of paths, benches to sit on and fun for all ages. There's usually a waterfall, and it's all very charming, but unfortunately it was under maintenance when we visited. Still, a good place to go if it's not beach weather!
