Parque de la Baronesa

En pleno centro de la ciudad de Arnedo nos encontramos con este pequeño espacio verde rodeado de edificios de interés. Junto a una de las principales calles arnedanas como es el paseo de la Constitución, el parque rebosa vida a cualquier hora del día. El edificio más bonito del parque y el que le da nombre es el Palacio de la Baronesa. Construido a principios del siglo XX, este bello edificio toma el nombre de la mujer que residió aquí, la baronesa de Benasque. Hoy en día el palacio tiene varios usos municipales, entre ellos oficina de turismo. Alrededor del parque también nos encontramos con otros edificios de interés, como son el Centro Joven y el Centro Cultural Caja Rioja. Dentro de la propia zona verde tenemos de todo. Bancos para sentarnos a tomar algo, una fuente, esculturas y hasta la antigua puerta que daba acceso a las dependencias del palacio.

In the heart of the city of Arnedo we find this small green space surrounded by buildings of interest. Next to one of the main arnedan streets as it is the walk of the Constitution, the park bursts life to any hour of the day. The most beautiful building in the park and the one that gives it its name is the Palace of the Baroness. Built in the early twentieth century, this beautiful building takes its name from the woman who lived here, the baroness of Benasque. Nowadays the palace has several municipal uses, among them tourist office. Around the park we also find other buildings of interest, such as the Youth Center and the Caja Rioja Cultural Center. Inside the green zone we have everything. Banks to sit for a drink, a fountain, sculptures and even the old door that gave access to the dependencies of the palace.
