Just like in the movies
Park Avenue is one of Manhattan's wide streets that crosses the city from east to west. Important buildings here include the famous Grand Central Station Terminal and the MetLife Building. But what struck me the most, along the stretch on the Upper East Side, were the awnings that covered the doors of the buildings and the surrounding streets, to protect people from wind and rain, often with a doorman outside. It was exactly like I'd seen it in so many TV shows and movies!
