A surprising experience
I confess that my first impression upon arrival at the Parador de Nerja wasn't very good. Being used to beautiful, historic buildings, this one - with its dated 60s architecture - didn't exactly knock me off my feet. But entering changed everything. The service is friendly and warm, and the facilities are great quality. We had a large room with a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom with two sinks, tub and shower, and plenty of amenities (wifi, minibar, safe, etc).
And the best part of this hotel isn't on the front, but at the back - there's an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a large green area dotted with sunloungers, where you can relax and enjoy the best sunrises of the Costa del Sol (of course, you can also do it from the terrace of your room!).
