The restaurant at the Jaen lookout point has a certain charm about it that’s different from the rest of the building. The arches and the lamps make sure the atmosphere is exquisite, consistent with the food they offer on their menu. The gastronomy you’ll find here is traditional, but with innovative presentations.
In addition to the classic menu, there are certain set menus and “fast” dishes, but everything is great. The service is A+.
It was an incredible dinner. Upon entering the restaurant and seeing the dining area with arches and iron-wrought lamps, a magnificent feeling overcomes you. We sat down at a table for two, with plenty of space. They greeted us with olive and a tapa of very good country salad.
We both opted for the same meal: salmorejo (cream of tomato) and port medallions with a special sauce. Two authentic delights, especially the salmorejo (very smooth and flavorful – the best I’ve ever tried).
We washed everything down with a Vega Ibor from the royal bodega. Great. The service was perfect, attentive and kind.
