It is located in a privileged place. The cliff is behind and the sea in front. It is perfect for resting. They offer diving courses as well.
As in all “paradores” (state-owned hotels), there is a pleasant atmosphere. From there you can visit the island, which has interesting things to see. The sunrises are spectacular. I have been there several times and I have never been disappointed.
It is far from everything, in a road with no exit. To get somewhere you first have to go to the capital (20 minute car ride) then you have to choose a different destination. So if you want to go to eat somewhere …It is nice as a place for getting away from everything, where you can rest… but it is far away. The installations and service are good, like in all Paradors (state-owned hotels). Try to get a room with views of the sea, or else it’s a shame, since the back rooms are not interesting at all.
