Parador de Calahorra

A few days ago, we stopped at Calahorra and, to be honest, since we were coming back from Barcelona, what we wanted the most was a bed and that's it. However we discovered this stunning accommodation and we decided to pamper ourselves on our way back from a fast trip to Barcelona.

The Parador of Calarhorra oozes good taste from every corner, in honor of the distinguished Marco Fabio Quintiliano. In this parador of medieval style, tranquility invades the building, with a lovely garden and classical decoration.

This Parador is atypical for its location and architecture, since it is located in this very lively and growing area of the city. Also, the building is modern and with red bricks. However, the decoration is classical like most of the paradores that have not been renovated recently. It goes without saying that this place, part of the Paradores network, has good service and great care, as usual. Oh and, of course, a good restaurant.
