Cheap and good quality
As I am French, I can not live without bread. In Guatemala it can be difficult because they usually eat corn tortillas to with their lunch and dinner. But yes it is bread: french bread, and other types such as Pirulitos. But in ordinary bakeries one can not find much variety, or bread or cookies or cakes (maybe a muffin, or a thousand Guatemalan style sheets, and croissants with ham and cheese). But I found MY place for good bread: a bakery with no sign or lights, modest-looking but with a lot of choices: flavored breads and gouda or cheddar cheese, breaded chicken or beef, "braid Italian" that are enormous rolls stuffed with vegetables and meat, spinach and cheese breads, cookies, etc..
