Palmeral de Orihuela

Aquí se desarrolla un interesante sistema de regadío intensivo con tres capas de cultivo, abajo hortalizas y forraje para los animales, la segunda capa está compuesta por frutales y hasta por algunos olivos, arriba está el palmeral, de origen islámico, al pie de la montaña y junto a la población. Este conjunto de palmeras datileras además de ofrecer un paisaje único, alberga muchas instalaciones para el asueto y disfrute de los ciudadanos de Orihuela.
