Onyria Palmares Golf

This golf course is one of the Algarve's most famous, as it is only a short distance from Meia Praia. It was opened in 1975 and designed by Frank Pennink. It is an 18 hole, 71 par course which combines two types of landscape: on one side, it has a pine forest and on the other, the ocean and the dunes of the beach of San Roque. It has a clubhouse, good restaurant, and a luxury hotel resort: Onyria Palmares Hotel, with 172 luxurious rooms, a spa, and private villas.
