Es muy fácil dar con la palloza de Pereda de Ancares pues está justo en frente de su Centro de Turismo Rural y, por suerte para el visitante, la llave la tienen los dueños de este último lugar, ligados por su historia familiar a la típica construcción de esta zona del Bierzo. Aunque aún no está preparada para el turismo (cosa en la que se trabaja actualmente), seguro que tienen a bien enseñártela si lo pides con amabilidad y el tiempo se lo permite.
Merece mucho la pena entrar dentro de la construcción que, aunque ya no conserva el techo de teito (paja), si que sigue manteniendo su disposición original realizada en madera. En ella podrás ver el cuarto donde vivía la familia, el horno que utilizaban para cocinar, y la estancia que habitaban los animales. También la 'gremalleira' que se utilizó para colgar el pote en su momento.
No cuenta con luz eléctrica así que tendrás que entrar con linterna. Merece mucho la pena, sobre todo si viene acompañada de explicación.
It's easy to find the palloza Pereda Ancares for is right in front of the Center for Rural Tourism and fortunately for the visitors, the key lies with the owners of the latter place, bound by their family history to the typical construction of this area of Bierzo. Although still not ready for tourism (thing that currently works), they sure have a good shew if you ask politely and time permits. Well worth entering into the building, but no longer retains teito roof (straw), if it retains its original layout made from wood. In it you can see the room where the family lived, the oven used for cooking, and animals inhabiting stay. Also the 'gremalleira' that was used to hang the pot at the time. It has no electricity so you have to go with flashlight. Well worth it, especially if accompanied by explanation.
