Paleokastritsa

Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in Corfu. It is a series of small peninsulas that stretch into the sea, with small sandy beaches. The sea (as you can see in the pictures) has a beautiful color, blue and green and the waters are crystal clear. You can eat right next to the beach. You can also take a short boat ride to the caves. At the top of one of these peninsulas is a beautiful monastery which is accessed by a road with a traffic light and you cannot go up and down at the same time because it is so narrow. I didn't go in high season and there wasn't a long wait but I sense that in summer it must be torture.
