Looking for the Jewish stone plaque
The Palau de Lloctinent or Palace of the Lieutenant, current is the headquarters of the archives of the Crown of Aragón, is located on Plaça del Rei de Barcelona.
The interest of the building for the Jewish route is that although it does not belong to the enclave of the Call and it does not have a direct link with the Jewish community, it has a Jewish stone plaque on one of the outside walls.
This is due to the fact that in the period after the assault to the Call, some of the materials of the Jewish stone plaques were used to build or restore buildings.
In the case of the Palau Lloctinent it is interesting to stop for a moment and search for the Jewish inscription on the wall of the building, more or less at the height of the stairs of the History Museum of Barcelona.
