El palacio antiguantente llamado Palacio de las Dos torres fue construido en el siglo XVII. Era un pabellón de caza. Fue adquirido por e Infante D. Luis de Borbón en 1761. El Infante encargó la transformación a el palacio actual al arquitecto Ventura Rodríguez. Tiene forma rectangular y esta formado por una serie de terrazas origniariamente ajardinadas.
