Vicar Palace
The Vicar Palace is right in the medieval village of Scarperia, in Tuscany, Florence. Scarperia was founded in 1306 in the foothills of the Apennines, and from here, a steep climb began up to the peaks. Because of this, it was later name "scarpe" which means shoe and "ria" which means path in Italian. In the center of the medieval town is the Palazzo del Vicario, which is in the same residence time in the high tower of Arnolfo di Cambio. The facade is adorned with hundreds of shields of different vicars who have gone after so many years. On the inside, it is very pretty filled with authors whose names transcend inside the village.
