Pahrump Valley Winery

One hour from Las Vegas Strip is Pahrum Valley Winery, a winery with a restaurant, called Symphony, we didn't east there because it was overpriced. However, the visit to the winery is a delight, beginning with the gardens and ending with wonderful desert views. The staff are friendly and very informative and the wine tasting is free unlike other wineries, where for a few sips cost between five and ten dollars.
