Home of Pablo Neruda

Getting to the town of Isla Negra (not sure how many people live here but i imagine it´s more than a small village but less than a city) from Santiago is not very difficult and not at all expensive (3 to 4 U.S. dollars) with the Pullman company. There are buses every few minutes and they take about two hours. The smell of the sea is present once you arrive but the most interesting thing here is the home of Pablo Neruda. It´s easy to get directions to this once you get off the bus. The house is less than 200 meters from the main road. I could talk for hours about the impressive, eccentric house but I prefer that you experience it yourself.
