Pablo Escobar Gaviria Museum

This is where Pablo Escobar spent the last few weeks of his life, before killing himself on a rooftop in Medellin, Colombia. We were shown around by a wonderful man, with a calm demeanor, and an amazingly detailed knowledge about the Medellin cartel. He told us about Don Roberto Escobar Gaviria, who was in a maximum security jail but nevertheless, sent out a letter bomb on 18 December, 1993 ... what kind of maximum security are we talking about?! All of our questions were answered, and at the end we could buy some photos. We had a typical Colombian coffee, and learned a lot about this dark period
