Yola
Architectural Gem
This church is an architectural gem from the seventeenth century, which stands on its own ruins. It was formerly known as Santa Maria Maggiore. Its highlights include the unfinished tower, baroque ornamentation, and its modest façade. With the restoration light brown hues appear. The interior became diaphanous in 2007 and is used for exhibitions, usually of paint. It is located in the plaza of the same name, on the eastern edge of Juli.
