12 reviews of Oualidia Beach

One of the most beautiful beaches

The beach at El Oualidia is one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. I love beaches just like this- not too many people and situated in a charming pueblo with a warm sea and a the tremendous sun! I arrived in El Oualidia unsure of what to expect but I was impressed after I saw the beach. It was early September so the Moroccans, ve represent the majority of tourists in the town, had already returned to the capital Casablanca and only a few surfers remained. The beach is in a little cove between two large rocks that break the waves. It is very popular to rent a boat and ride on the sort of lagoon that the ocean forms in this area and even in September, there are lifeguards on the beach.

Excellent

Looking for first visit to Moroccan beach... eager to recharge batteries from cold chilly life in Morocco.... left hot sunny Casablanca to find chilly Oualidia... no beach to lay on or go for first run on beach... just hard rock and “lagoon” blocking any access to ocean. People and food here delightful... but $80 for little food... if any sand to run on or lay out on tomorrow can be found west of rocks and trapped tidal water... trip will have been worth it, if not... come for boat rides restaurants and delightful people but not “a beach”

Full of trash, not the best part of the visit.

Excellent

If you have some extra time go there only at sunset
