Classic Parma cuisine with a twist
A small family run restaurant in a side street of Via Farini in the historic center of Parma. The menu is limited but features classic Parma cuisine with a twist. Dishes vary with the season, in October you should try the fresh porcini salad and in November homemade pasta with black truffle from the Apennines. A dish of horse meat either raw or cooked (a specialty of Parma) is usually included in seconds section of the menu. The restaurant owner can help you select a wine to go with your dinner. The hills around Parma produce Lambrusco a fizzy red wine which tastes better than it sounds and is the perfect accompaniment to Parma ham and torta fritta.
English and French spoken.
