The osteria of Ermes is a traditional Italian restaurant, but the service and location is in itself ... Traditional. The place is run by Ermes and his wife, cooking, and occasionally their children help serve and run the business as if it were your own home, this means that they will tell you what is available on the menu that day (usually 3 or 4 appetizers and 3-5 entrees) and you better like it, if you leave anything on your plate you could earn yourself a slap on the back of the neck from Ermes. The food was the best I had in Italy, and the restaurant is as familiar as I've seen in my life should go early to get a seat, and if you go alone or go a couple of people and failing that site is the best place to meet people, because Ermes has what he calls a 'singles table', where he sits people ve are alone.
