Many Ceremonies and Rituals
The Oruro Carnival takes place in Oruro, in the Republic of Bolivia. It's a mining and ceremonial centre of great importance, since precolonial times. It's the result of a process that comes from remote ancestral practices, where preparation lasts throughout the year with many ceremonies and rituals. The moment of greatest visibility and importance is the traditional dates of the Carnival.
