Oropa Sanctuary

Oropa sanctuary is a Marian shrine located in the Piedmont, a few km from Biella, on the Sacro Monte di Oropa. The building is protected by a host of mountains and trees, and the surroundings are typical of the Piedmont region. The construction features a large main dome, which houses the religious sector. You can visit inside the building. A series of buildings ranging from restaurants and cafes to a small museum and religious craft shops can be found either side of the building.
