Orologio Tower

One of the most beautiful corners of the spectacular Piazza San Marco is the Torre del Orologio, or Clock Tower. It is easily recognizable, next to the Basilica of San Marco, with its spectacular astronomical clock and the winged lion on its facade. This tower can be visited in guided groups, by booking ahead. Besides being able to see the clock's machinery, you can climb to the terrace at the tower, which has a panoramic view of the Plaza de San Marcos
