Big quantities and very good!
There are many Original Pancake Houses in the Midwest. But they originated in the Chicago suburbs. Starting out as a family restaurant called Walker Brothers Pancake House in the northern suburbs, it has now been franchised all over the Midwest. As most franchises go, the complex recipes are non existent but rather the classics done really well. This particular location is one of them. It is hidden a bit and tucked under an apartment complex. Just be sure to follow the signs off of Clark Street.
If you are looking for the best breakfast in all of Chicago, I would not say that this is it. This is your typical homemade pancakes mom used to make on a Sunday morning. This is delicious eggs with some cheese mixed in. It is the perfect kids breakfast place. Lots of families come here, and there are balloons and coloring for the kids when they leave. The girls had some big bear pancakes with a strawberry smile. I ordered the Chicken Sausage Scramble. Everything was in big quantities and very good!!
