At the Museum of Science, materials collected by professionals over decades are exhibited. Civic leaders in Oklahoma City (like Kirkpatrick) have given a lot to the community and to the state of Oklahoma since 1940. Their generosity and philanthropy allows for many art and educational organizations. He continues to give today through the Kirkpatrick Foundation.
