Dining out with an at-home flavor (or even better!)
What I liked best about this restaurant is that you feel like you’re at home, and for several reasons:
First of all, because you share a table… that is, if you want to. Olivia te cuida is a small restaurant, probably the smallest I’ve ever seen in my life. I’d say that it’s about 30 square meters. It has only 3 tables and a bar against the wall. You can eat at the bar, at one of the two tables for two, or in the center table, which can fit up to 8 people. You show up and can sit wherever you’d like, and if the center table of 8 has 2 empty seats, they’re all yours! The idea of sharing tables with others is something that has yet to take off in Spain, so some people might feel somewhat awkward, but in other parts of the world it’s much more common.
