Very fine sand and natural dunes

Oliva is located on Spain's western coast, almost on the limit of the province of Alicante. Oliva beach is about 1.5 km away from town, and is mainly a residential and summer beach town. What's different from the other beach towns (Gandia, Cullera, etc.) is that it has a small population density, even in the summer, which lets you stay over night in the area to always be close to the water. It's a 10 km-long beach with very fine and is bordered by natural sand dunes.

Special

A sweet Sunday with the family at Oliva beach, specifically in Nusa Dua, below the pergola and the hammocks and, when it was time to eat, the smell of paella flow across the sea. Simply spectacular.

Very good

A great, clean, and calm beach with sand dunes and not too many people.

My favorite beaches

Although I'm from Valladolid, I never pass up the opportunity to spend my summers in Oliva. The beaches, the towns people, the tennis club (where they showed a ton of patience with me, haha).. A great place to spend the summer, no doubt about it.

Tranquility

Excellent

This beach is unique because of its water, its sand, and for not being overly-crowded, even in August. Chiringuitos Chill-Out has 2.75 Euro beers with a very nice staff, or you can go to the terraces at the camping ground , which are much cheaper and the tables have great views of the sea.

Oliva Beach

This is one of Spain's best beaches, with long shallow stretches of clear water, very suitable for beginners at kitesurfing. It is also ideal as a backdrop for photography.
