Old Town San Diego

As the name implies, this is the historic neighborhood of San Diego. It is so old that it still feels like something from a western! Actually it's a neighborhood between downtown and Mission Bay. The historic park has a few restaurants and old buildings that will make you feel like you're on the set of a western. It's a great place to buy souvenirs, mainly Mexican. There are all sorts of Mexican crafts there, like skulls and lucha libre masks. The entrance to the archaeologicl park is free, and it's a great place to spend the day.
