Recalls the early twentieth century
The old railway station of Puente Viesgo was in operation until 1973, it had narrow gauge trains (Feve) that made the route Astillero - Ontaneda. The station building has been restored and is now integrated into the Via Verde del Pas, an excellent walking place for locals. It recalls the early twentieth century with its metal framed porch and cover of wooden slats, under which lies a peculiar antique clock. I read had read that the inside held the Municipal Museum of Prehistoric Viesgo Bridge, but I think not (I found it locked up tight and didn't look to be visitable). Adjacent is the locomotive
