A nice place for a walk

The Bastakiya Quarter is located in a historical area of Dubai, one of the oldest parts of the city. The name rerives from an Iranian city, because in the early nineteenth century lots of traders migrated to Dubai. The wind towers are higher than the walls, and as you walk around the neighbourhood you'll enjoy a strange sensation, as if you're in a movie. The houses are currently being transformed into cafes, galleries and quirky shops, so the neighbourhood is a nice place for a little walk.

Old Dubai and its dhows

Old Dubai is what remains of this city of Bedouins who used to make their living pearl fishing and now make their living from tourism and oil. The Old Dubai is a fortress in the city center, very similar to Golden Neutral Istanbul, and before docking port where the ancient dhow fishing boats can be seen.
