Crow Castle
Okayama Castle (冈山 城) is, together with Korakuen is one of the most important tourist attractions of the city of Okeyama. Historically it was built in the late 16th century, but it didn't survive the American bombing in 1945 and what we see now is a replica that was built in the 60's. It's also called Crow Castle because of its black color on the outside, a nickname the building shares with Matsumoto Castle in Nagano, but the first one is called U-jo and second is called Karasu-jo, with two different sets of symbols "乌 城" is literally crow castle.
