Ojen Oil Mill

Ojén is proud to have a valuable site where the memory of its ancestors has become a religion: The Oil Mill. Originally from industrial Malaga in late nineteenth century, the Mill has a number of outer courtyard barns, with a structure similar to that of a farmhouse. This was where the olives were deposited before being moved for grinding. All the workers were concentrated around various gatherings in the courtyard, making it a true community center. The interior of the Oil Mill has a reception, a small shop where you can buy local products, a room which houses the mill which is in perfect condition
